Kick off the new year with a tangy refreshing smoothie. After all that holiday food, this is just the thing to get you back on track. These mandarins from Main and Vine shop were so deliciously sweet, I ended up adding lemon juice to the recipe to bring back some tanginess. I usually buy mandarins this time of year because they are most ripe, but even then I still have times where I buy a pack that isn’t sweet at all and completely flavorless. These mandarins were a pleasant surprise. Finally mandarins that taste the way they should! I ended up going back the following day for more because my husband and I couldn’t stop eating them.
