Tartar sauce is a savory sauce frequently served with seafood. It’s one of those sauces you either love or hate. I happen to love tartar sauce but always have a hard time buying a well prepared sauce from the store. In my opinion, store bought tartar sauces have way too much mayonnaise in them. I created my own recipe using the combination of sour cream and mayonnaise so the mayo isn’t too overpowering. This recipe goes so well with fried seafood. Stay tuned for my next recipe post, you guessed it, it’s a seafood recipe!
