- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 20 chicken wings separated at the joint, wingtips removed
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup hot sauce franks redhot
In a bowl mix flour, cayenne pepper, garlic powder and salt.
Coat each wing in the flour mixture and place onto the baking sheet lined with nonstick foil. Refrigerate for 2 hours. If you're using frozen wings, thaw completely and thoroughly pat dry with paper towel to remove residual moisture.
In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter and hot sauce.
Bake the refrigerated wings at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 40-45 minutes making sure to flip them half way through.
Once the wings are fully cooked, toss them in the bowl of hot sauce and melted butter. Serve them warm with blue cheese dip or ranch.
