Ingredients

  • 3 large Honeycrisp apples
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Wash and dry 3 honey crisp apples. You can either core them or leave them whole. Then slice them into very thin slices. I highly recommend using a mandoline slicer to get perfectly thin and even slices. Tip: don’t slice all the apples at once. They turn brown very quickly, so slice one at a time.
  • Once you have your apples all sliced, place as many as you can in a single layer on the bottom of the air-fryer basket. Then lightly dust with ground cinnamon. Add as much cinnamon as you like. You can also sprinkle a little bit of brown sugar for extra sweetness.
  • Now cook them at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to adjust and flip them every 5 minutes. Since the apple chips are thin, they might fly around a little. But that’s totally ok, they will be deliciously crispy once they are done!
  • Repeat these steps with the remaining apple slices and enjoy!

Notes

Store these Air Fryer Apple Chips in a ziplock bag or airtight container at room temperature. They will stay crispy for about a week.
