  • Wash, pat dry, and trim your green beens.
  • Then preheat your basket air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Now add the green beans into a large bowl and mix it with 1 Tbsp avocado oil, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/8 tsp black pepper, and 1/2 tsp kosher salt (add more as needed).
  • Once everything is well combined, transfer the green beans into the air fryer basket and air-fryer for about 8-10 minutes (give it a quick shake halfway through). Serve warm.

Notes

  • Dry the green beans- Oil doesn't adhere to wet green beans so dry them off after washing so the oil will stick, and the seasonings, too.
  • Trim the ends- The ends are tough and fibrous, so it's best to chop them off so these Air Fryer Green Beans have the best texture.
  • Thoroughly coat with oil- The oil helps them get that delicious crispness on the outside. Coating them well with oil will ensure they have great texture and are well-seasoned.
  • Don't overfill the basket- Because air fryers work by circulating hot air quickly, overfilling the basket will cause some green beans to be undercooked or mushy.
