1 bunch asparagus 2 garlic cloves minced 2 Tbsp olive oil Salt & pepper to taste Rinse the asparagus with cold water. Then snap off the bottom of each asparagus spear and discard the ends. I usually take off about 1-2 inches.
In a pot of boiling water, blanch the asparagus for about 2 minutes. Then pour the hot water out to prevent the asparagus from cooking any further.
Heat 2 Tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and stir in 2 minced garlic cloves for about 1-2 minutes. Add the blanched asparagus to the skillet and cook until tender. Only sautee for a few minutes being careful not to overcook the asparagus.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
