Instructions

Clean and season the shrimp

  • Start off by thawing out your shrimp and removing the shells. I like to leave the tail on but you can remove that as well if you want.
  • Now place the raw shrimp in a large bowl and mix it with olive oil, freshly pressed garlic, salt, onion powder, oregano, black pepper, and cayenne (optional).

Cook shrimp in the skillet

  • Then melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp a few minutes on both sides until they are pink and opaque.
  • Serve warm with rice or make into it an Alfredo shrimp recipe with pasta and Alfredo sauce.

Notes

What to serve it with?
Serve these flavorful shrimp with brown rice or scalloped potatoes. Or use them as the base protein in my Cajun chicken alfredo pasta. Or go the low carb route and serve it on top of a spinach salad
How long does it keep in the fridge?
This recipe will taste best for up to 3-4 days.
