Then thoroughly mix the plain Greek yogurt with the honey. Give it a taste and add more as needed.
Now begin assembling the parfait in a small glass cup or jar using 1/4 cup of each ingredient at a time. I layered mine in this order: yogurt, granola, and strawberries. Repeat in that order until the entire jar is filled to the top. Note: depending on the size of the jar, you may need to use more than 1/4 cup of each ingredient per layer.
Notes
Slice the strawberries uniformly and small- Ensure that your strawberry pieces are small enough that they easily fit into the jar and can fit in a spoonful without overwhelming the bite.
Use fresh fruit- This parfait tastes best when fresh fruit is used. Avoid canned fruit that usually has a syrup and is mushy, as well as frozen fruit that thaws mushy.
Check the sweetness level- If you like your yogurt sweet, then you may want to add more honey. On the other hand, if you prefer it tangy, use less. Taste test it to make sure it's to your preference.
Adjust based on jar size- Depending on the size of the jar, you may need to use more than 1/4 cup of each ingredient per layer as you assemble your parfait.
