Ingredients

  • 3 slices white sandwich bread toasted
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 slices lettuce Romain, butter, or iceberg
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 2 slice havarti cheese or Monterey Jack
  • 6-8 slices Turkey breast deli meat
  • 4 slices bacon cooked

Instructions

  • Start off by toasting the 3 slices of bread in the toaster.
  • Then spread the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on 1 side of each slice of bread.
    Steps to make Turkey Club Sandwich: toast the bread and then spread mayo and Dijon mustard on them.
  • Now place the bread mayo side up and on only 2 of the bread slices add the lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, turkey, and bacon.
  • Place the 3rd slice of bread on top and enjoy!
    Steps to make Turkey Club Sandwich: layer the lettuce and tomato on the bread, then the cheese, then the bacon, and top with the last slice of bread.

Notes

  • Toast the bread- Toasting it will make it more sturdy to hold the fillings and also ward off moisture that will make it soggy.
  • Make the bacon crispy- There is nothing better than the crunchy bite of bacon on this club sandwich, so try to use thicker cut bacon that is nice and crispy.
  • Add a generous amount of dressing- Spread a generous layer of mayo and Dijon on the bread to keep this sandwich flavorful and moist.
